Course Description
The wildfires in Maui have had a tremendous impact on our local communities and state. Join us as Marc Moriguchi, Director of Hawaii Healthcare Emergency Management (HHEM), discusses the response to the wildfires in relation to continuity of health care services. He will review key points from their after action report, noting strengths of response efforts as well as areas for improvement.
This webinar will be recorded and made available on the HAH website for on-demand viewing. There are no continuing education credits associated with this informational session.

Speaker
Marc Moriguchi, EMTP
Marc Moriguchi has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration/Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management from the University of Hawaii West Oahu. He is a licensed paramedic in the state of Hawaii with 33 years of experience in prehospital care and 14 years as a Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) member.
He joined Hawaii Healthcare Emergency Management in June of 2019 and was promoted to Director in October 2020.
